The State of Utah passed a Water Conservation Act requiring each water district and public water system with over 500 connections to submit a water conservation plan to the Division of Water Resources. These plans are required to be updated every five years.
The purpose of the Utah conservation plan is to outline strategies and actions to protect and manage the state's natural resources, primarily focusing on conserving water by establishing goals to limit per capita consumption, ensuring adequate water supplies for the future, and implementing measures to reduce water usage across different sectors, including residential and agricultural, in response to Utah's arid climate and growing population.
Below you will find a copy of Bona Vista’s Water Conservation Plan that was updated and approved in December of 2024.
