NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF REAL PROPERTY INTO
BONA VISTA WATER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
A petition has been filed by Brian Shelley, owner of all the private real property, serial number 19-017-0034 in Weber County, Utah to annex that area into the Bona Vista Water District. The service provided by that District is culinary water which was requested by Weber County.

The petition for annexation is scheduled to be considered by the District’s Board of Trustees at its regular meeting to be held August 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the District office at 2020 West 1300 North, Farr West, Utah. Please note the resolution may be delayed for not to exceed 60 days following the public hearing.
The area to be annexed is shown on the attached plat and is described as follows:
Two (2) parcels of land being part of that entire tract of land described as “Parcel 1” in that Special Warranty Deed recorded February 8, 2023 as Entry No. 3272599 on the Office of the Weber County Recorder. Said parcels of land are located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 25 and the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 7 North, Range 2 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian and is described as follows:
Beginning at the West Quarter Corner of said Section 25; thence S. 89°26'31" W. 33.80 feet along the Quarter Section line and southerly line of said entire tract to an existing UDOT Right-of-Way monument marking the easterly right-of-way line of Highway Interstate-15; thence along said easterly right-of-way the following two (2) courses: 1) N. 00°13'52" E. 526.04 feet to an existing UDOT Right-of-Way marker and a point of non-tangency with a 5849.58 - foot radius curve to the left, concave westerly (Radius point bears N. 89°48'16" W.); thence Northerly 1514.47 feet along the arc of said curve and right-of-way, through a central angle of 14°50'02" (Chord bears N. 07°13'17” W. 1510.24 feet) to the westerly right-of-way line of the Central Pacific Railroad; thence S. 18°11'00" E. 2,009.05 feet along said westerly right-of-way; thence N. 89°18'19" W. 166.43 feet to a point of tangency with a 270.00 - foot radius curve to the left, concave southeasterly; thence Southwesterly 264.55 feet along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 56°08'25" (Chord bears S. 62°37'29” W. 254.10 feet) to the Quarter Section Line; thence S. 88°10'21" W. 13.38 feet along said Quarter Section Line to the Point of Beginning.
Contains 341,743 sq. ft. or 7.845 acres, more or less.
Beginning at a point on the Quarter Section line and southerly boundary line of said entire tract, which is 125.28 feet N. 88°10'21” E. along the Quarter Section line from the West Quarter Corner of said Section 25; said point being a point of non-tangency with a 200.00 - foot radius curve to the right, concave southerly (Radius point bears S. 33°32'05" E.); thence Easterly 119.48 feet along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 34°13'46" (Chord bears N. 73°34'48” E. 117.71 feet); thence S. 89°18'19" E. 193.69 feet to the westerly right-of-way line of the Central Pacific Railroad; thence S. 18°11'00" E. 22.02 feet along said westerly right-of-way to the Quarter Section line; thence S. 88°10'21" W. 313.62 feet along said Quarter Section line to the Point of Beginning.
